First leaks on NVIDIA upcoming GeForce RTX 4090

Over at Chiphell forums, mysterious screenshots were posted showing an unnamed GPU reaching 3.0 GHz clock.

The graphics card scored 20192 points in 3DMark Time Spy Extreme, so just a bit more than rumored 19K for GeForce RTX 4090 GPU. The overall score is low because the sample was tested with Core i5-12400F processor. With such score, this GPU is 78% faster than RTX 3090 Ti, the current flagship of the NVIDIA Ampere series, and 90% faster than its predecessor, the RTX 3090.

More interestingly, the leaker has also shared GPU clock and temperature data. It supposedly shows the GPU reaching 3015 MHz frequency, which is very high clock for a GPU, especially this soon (since we are in engineering stage).

According to the person, the GPU was tested in 30°C ambient temperature while GPU temperature was oscillating around 65°C (but we can see it went big higher). The leaker claims that the graphics card is air-cooled and it is huge. It looks to be designed for 600W to 800W but the TDP is 450W. This suggests this might indeed be GeForce RTX 4090 GPU, which is rumored to feature such board power.

The temperature at the time of silent frequency running is 30 degrees at room temperature.
This card is air-cooled, and the radiator is very large. It is estimated that the middle tower may not be able to fit, and it is impossible to take pictures. It looks like this is designed to look like 600-800w, but the default tdp is very low and only 450w, it is estimated that non-guild will have 800w version
